Yutong has officially entered the Swiss market, bringing its advanced new energy mobility solutions to the country’s public transport sector. Marking this important milestone is the launch of Switzerland’s first battery-electric long-distance coach, the fully electric, tri-axle T14E, now operated by Eurobus AG.

Measuring nearly 14 meters in length, the T14E is engineered to meet the demands of Switzerland’s varied terrain and high-frequency operations. Its 621 kWh LFP battery pack delivers a range of up to 500 kilometers on a single charge, providing the endurance required for long-distance services. To support efficient fleet operations, the coach is equipped with a 300 kW dual-gun DC fast-charging system, with 500A charging sockets positioned at the front left and rear right for greater flexibility across different depot configurations.

Passenger comfort is equally central to the T14E’s design. The coach accommodates 57 passengers and features an independent onboard restroom, alongside a range of amenities designed to provide a comfortable and convenient travel experience.

Yutong’s presence in Switzerland is also expanding into urban mobility. Zurich public transport operator VBZ has selected Yutong to supply eight 12-meter battery-electric city buses, extending our footprint from long-distance travel to city transport.
